Monika Kostera is titular professor in economics and in the humanities and works as professor in of management at The Jagiellonian University in Poland and at Södertörn University in Sweden. She has also been working at Durham University in the UK. She holds several visiting professorships. Her research interests include organizational imagination and the disalienation of work. Her preferred research method in ethnography, which gives the opportunity to experience different social realities and relate to people and their ways of living. She has published over 40 books and many articles related to her reasearch areas. She also writes poetry and has published three poetry collections with Erbacce and Oficynka.
