Ian Cooke-Tapia

Lightning Source POD

Singing a song no one in this land had ever heard, Coyote is led to the dry lowlands. Here, he finds a place of dry brush and scrubland like his home range. But even Coyote, a stranger, can see that things aren’t as they should be. The land looks ravaged and consumed. As he wanders the savannah, he encounters a ghostly herd of skeletal creatures who eat everything in their path. Coyote is powerless to face them, so he escapes deep into the mangrove. The mangrove is a labyrinth, full of secrets and dangers unlike any Coyote has ever faced. Soon, he is lost in this marine jungle teeming with Crocodiles, Ocelots and all manner of creatures wishing to make a meal of Coyote. For the first time in his life, Coyote has become the prey.
